Notices

Three Brothers is an historic sailing coble. She was built in Bridlington in 1912 at a cost of £75. For many years she was a fishing coble as well as a pleasure vessel during the summer. She is now refurbished as a traditional East Coast sailing coble.

The Society now has on display several items from HMS Bridlington. HMS Bridlington was a wartime minesweeper, which visited the town on several occasions. Anyone with any information about this vessel is asked to contact the Society.

Three Brothers has been leased to the Bridlington Sailing Coble Preservation Society by the Bridlington Harbour Commissioners. The Society is responsible for the coble's maintenance and provides skipper and crew whenever she sails. Sailing dates are here.
You can hear a new song about Three Brothers here.

Currently the Society is small and made up of mainly elderly enthusiasts. To maintain the vessel and to ensure her life continues, the Society needs new members to do the work and more finance to pay for that work.

www.intheboatshed.net is a website with many other boats which are preserved. Three Brothers appears there too.
