Maintenance Report

Ian Johnson was not the first to arrive at the Chicken Run! Albert and I did the boat hop to the Gannet followed by Ian a little later.

The rain was light at 10.00am so we checked the engine and released the mooring ropes. The Gannet was taken to the harbour mouth but the swell in the harbour was enough without venturing into the bay.

We took turns at berthing by the Three Brothers which proved tricky with the blustery wind.

The Three Brothers was pumped out, which did not take long because Ian had put a recharged battery on the bilge pump the day before.

Several more berthing approaches were made as we tried to compensate for the wind when moving astern.

Several items of debris were removed from both vessels and the Gannet was put back on its moorings at noon.
